Engineering & Safety Disclaimer
Introduction
LED Architect Pro™ is a professional engineering, planning, visualization, documentation, and calculation platform intended to assist qualified production professionals in the design and deployment of temporary and permanent LED display systems.
While every effort has been made to develop accurate calculations, recommendations, and engineering workflows, the software is provided solely as a decision-support tool. It does not replace the knowledge, judgment, supervision, or responsibility of qualified engineers, production managers, riggers, electricians, venue personnel, or safety professionals.
Professional Responsibility
The user is solely responsible for:
- Verifying the accuracy of all calculations.
- Confirming all dimensions, weights, loading, and structural capacities.
- Inspecting all equipment prior to use.
- Confirming compatibility between products.
- Following all manufacturer documentation.
- Complying with venue rules and engineering requirements.
- Following all applicable local, state, provincial, national, and international laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Determining whether additional engineering review is required.
Any drawings, signal flow diagrams, cable maps, equipment lists, power calculations, processor layouts, or engineering recommendations generated by LED Architect Pro™ must be independently reviewed before implementation.
No Engineering Certification
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, documents generated by LED Architect Pro™ are not stamped engineering drawings and do not constitute structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, life safety, or architectural engineering.
Nothing generated by this software should be interpreted as an engineering certification or approval.
Where required by law, users must obtain review and approval from appropriately licensed professional engineers.
Temporary Structures
Temporary entertainment structures present significant safety risks.
The software does not certify or approve:
- Ground-supported structures
- Truss systems
- Roof systems
- Flying systems
- Hoists
- Rigging
- Ballast requirements
- Wind loading
- Structural stability
- Foundation design
- Soil bearing capacity
- Guy wire systems
- Fall protection systems
These systems must always be designed, reviewed, and approved by qualified professionals using accepted engineering practices and applicable codes.

Electrical work should only be performed by qualified personnel.
Signal Processing
Signal flow diagrams, processor recommendations, port loading calculations, fiber layouts, and mapping suggestions are generated using published specifications and accepted industry practices.
Users remain responsible for verifying:
- Pixel counts
- Processor limits
- Firmware compatibility
- Cable distances
- Signal integrity
- Redundancy
- EDID configuration
- Genlock requirements
- Refresh compatibility
